New Nexus Devices Announced!

Hurricane sandy ruined what was supposed to be the coming out event for the new nexus devices.  Even though google postponed the playground event, they went on ahead and announced their new devices; probably due to the fact that windows and apple already made two announcements prior and waiting would only hurt google's pace in this ever competitive mobile market. So here are the details of the new nexus devices, all credits goes to googleblog.blogspot.com, google's official blog page.

  • Nexus 4: Nexus 4 is our latest smartphone, developed together with LG. It has a quad-core processor which means it's super fast, a crisp 4.7" (320 ppi) display that's perfect for looking at photos and watching YouTube, and with wireless charging you just set the phone down on a charging surface to power it up, no wires needed..
    • 8GB for $299; 16GB for $349; available unlocked and without a contract on 11/13 on the Google Play store in the U.S., U.K., Australia, France, Germany, Spain and Canada. The 16GB version will also be available through T-Mobile for $199, with a 2-year contract (check here for more details).
  • Nexus 7: 16GB for $199 and 32GB for $249; available in the U.S., U.K., Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Canada and Japan, and also through our retail partners Gamestop, Office Depot, Office Max, Staples and Walmart.
  • Nexus 10: We wanted to build a premium entertainment device, so we partnered with Samsung to do just that. Nexus 10 is the highest resolution tablet on the planet with a 10.055" display at 2560-by-1600 (300ppi), that's over 4 million pixels right in your hands. It comes with a powerful battery that will get you up to nine hours of video playback and more than 500 hours of standby time. With a set of front-facing stereo speakers, you can watch movies right from your Nexus 10 and they simply sound awesome. But what makes Nexus 10 unique is that it's the first truly shareable tablet.
    • 16GB for $399; 32GB for $499; available on 11/13 in the Google Play Store in the U.S., U.K., Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Canada and Japan. You'll also be able to purchase the 32GB version in more than 2,000 Walmart stores in the U.S.
Off course the big problem right now with the nexus 4 that many others have pointed out is the lack of lte and expandable storage.

Ipod Touch 5g vs Iphone 5

The iPod touch is a strange bird. The first edition was released just a few months after the iPhone in 2007 as the iPod line's lone multitouch device. Through the years, though, it's become known more as a Nintendo DS rival than an MP3 player. Though kids' gaming may be the iPod touch's claim to fame, the device is almost on par with the iPhone. That point may be more valid today than ever, as the iPod touch has received a long-awaited update - probably its biggest yet. How does the new 5th generation iPod touch compare to its big brother, the iPhone 5? Let's take a look…

Dimensions

Apart from the iPod touch's incredible thinness, these measurements look similar
Apart from the iPod touch's incredible thinness, these measurements look similar
When looking at dimensions, you could argue that the iPod touch is the winner. The iPhone 5 is ridiculously thin for a high-powered smartphone, but the 5th gen. iPod touch makes it look chunky. It may be the thinnest mobile device you've ever seen.
Both devices have the new longer style, to accommodate the matching 16:9 displays. The iPod touch is a hair shorter than the iPhone, with identical width.

Weight

The iPhone 5 is light, but the 5G iPod touch is much lighter
The iPhone 5 is light, but the 5G iPod touch is much lighter
Much like its thinness, the weight of the iPod touch is mind-boggling. The iPhone 5's lightness is one of its hallmarks, but the iPod touch's lack of heft blows it away. Apple may as well have branded it as the iPod Air.

Display

The iPod touch gets an equal display this time around
The iPod touch gets an equal display this time around
The 5th generation iPod touch gets the exact same display as the iPhone 5. Though the 4th gen. edition had identical (Retina) resolution as the iPhone 4/4S, it was a cheaper display. This year, the two devices are equals.
Judging by these first few categories, you'd think the iPod touch was the superior device, but things are about to change …

Processor

No A6 for the iPod touch
No A6 for the iPod touch
The iPhone 5's A6 chip is a market-leader, which has broken multiple benchmark records. But the iPod touch has no such luck. It's still stuck in the land of A5, the chip found in the iPad 2 and iPhone 4S. By 2012 standards, it still delivers impressive performance, but it's no A6.

RAM

With less RAM and a weaker processor, the iPod touch won't perform like the iPhone 5 does
With less RAM and a weaker processor, the iPod touch won't perform like the iPhone 5 does
The iPod touch also got the short end of the RAM stick. The iPhone 5 jumped to 1 GB, but the touch's 512 MB (again) matches the amount in the iPhone 4S.

Storage

There is no 16GB option for the iPod touch
There is no 16GB option for the iPod touch
The only difference here is that the iPhone 5 is available in a 16 GB model (for US$200 on-contract), while the new iPod touch's base storage option is 32 GB ($300).

Wireless

Despite rumors we heard last year, the iPod touch still doesn't come with mobile data
Despite rumors we heard last year, the iPod touch still doesn't come with mobile data
Wireless is the biggest differentiator between the two devices. Namely, the iPhone is a phone, and the iPod touch isn't. You'll be limited to Wi-Fi networks with the touch, so no mobile browsing unless it's tethered to a portable hotspot.
The iPod touch also lacks GPS. Though it can still utilize location-based services, they won't be nearly as accurate as they are in the iPhone.

Battery

These stats don't make much sense side-by-side, but we may see similar battery life
These stats don't make much sense side-by-side, but we may see similar battery life
If you're wondering how to compare the above stats, you aren't alone. Until the iPod touch ships and we get some real-world use, there will be no accurate way to compare the two devices.
Though the iPod touch should have a smaller battery than the iPhone 5 (a big part of its lightweight status), it isn't burdened with cellular data drain, so uptimes may even out.

Cameras

The iPhone 5 has a superior camera
The iPhone 5 has a superior camera
If you want an excellent camera, your choice is easy. The iPhone 5 takes the great camera in the iPhone 4S and improves its low-light shooting. The iPod touch's camera, meanwhile, is probably closer to the shooters in the iPhone 4 and 3rd gen. iPad.
Both cameras have front-facing (FaceTime) cameras, primarily for video chat.

Summing up

Though the iPod touch won't be an iPhone replacement for most people, it's only a few specifications shy of its big sibling. For kids who don't need phones or adults who want to get in on the iOS fun without an expensive wireless contract, it's a great choice.
If you want the best of the two, though, make no mistake: it's the iPhone 5. Despite the iPod touch's insane lightness and thinness, the iPhone's faster CPU, additional RAM, improved camera, and wireless capabilities make it the more capable choice.

New Iphone 5 Leaked Images

I'm extremely excited for the iphone 5 to come out.  I've been waiting for this long await upgrade for a while.  what i hope it will have is a bigger screen, more ram, quad core, and better battery.   So of course with all this excitement everyone's including myself have been having, there has been alot of rumors going about.  The thing with Rumors is that most of it are false.  However, recently supposedly "leaked" images of the iphone 5 seems very probably.  i honestly think the images are real and this is the beta version of the iphone 5.  if so, it looks so far.  I love the alimony alloy rim casing around the phone itself, makes it look nice and makes it sturdy.  on top of that, the screen does alot bigger.  I can not wait for this device!

Assassin's Creed 3 DLC Details Leaked: A Gamer's Take

New Details are Leaked about the upcoming game, Assassin's Creed 3.  it seems that Ubisoft will be doing day 1 DLCs.  personally, i think the DLC business have ruined gaming.  I recall the days of playstation 1 and N64 when games were supposed to be complete and be the full experience.  Nowadays, game companies purposely take out in game content that were already completed, repackage it, call it a "DLC" and make money while ripping off customers.   this is the case with many games from capcom and the recent Deus Ex: Human Revolution, where a full storyline part was intentional taken out only to later be sold a DLC.  this is digusting practice in my opinion.   What do you Think?

How to Get Free Traffic to Your Site (Autopilot Method)

A vital part of making a profitable and long lasting website is gaining web traffic. When you are starting up, it’s very hard to get traffic. I’m going to show you an easy on how to get free traffic to your website with sioniam.com . This is a site that enables you to earn web traffic on autopilot. i've only recently tried this site and am impressed by the traffic i've gained in 2 days and i was only this site not often at all.

TO START:
sign up at sioniam.com, or if you nice enough, please use my referral link: http://www.sioniam.com/?ref=jinjin12

it's very easy, when you start out, you get free points that could be used buy views/traffic to whatever site you want, be it a youtube video or your blog. gaining points is easy and the stystem will automatically do it for you. if you refer people, you will earn 1000 points when they hit their first 1000 points. you can also trade these points for money, but it's kinda pointless.

OVERVIEW:
to add the sites that you want people to view, add it to the "sites in rotation" column or "Points to Click Sites". i'll explain these a bit more later. you can add as many sites as you want to either category, however, it seems that for sites in rotation, only two sites will be active if you are free member such as myself (the other sites are "halted"), whereas for points to click sites, you can have unlimited active sites. websites under "sites in rotation" will gain much more views though and i'll explain why, nevertheless, just put the same site under both category because it's free and you will get more views.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

HOW IT WORKS:
to get points, there are several ways, i will explain some of them HOWEVER THERE IS ONLY ONE THAT YOU SHOULD USE because it is the easiest and faster way to gain traffic, which is "auto-surf with ads". but first i'll explain the system, you have auto-surf. auto-surf basically surf the pages that in "sites in rotation" category automatically for you. Thus you will be basically surfing all the sites that are are in the sioniam database in this category and other people are doing the same, thus you are viewing other people's pages and they viewing yours. now the "1:.4" means that for every 1 page you view, u get .4 points.

manual surf is the same as auto surf except you do it manually, thus is more tedious but u get more points. "points to click" means u get points for click on a website from list of sites that are taken the "Points to Click Sites" list. now this very tedious and no one does it, thus is the reason why the sites that you put under this category won't have alot of views.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

NOW THAT I'VE EXPLAINED THE SYSTEM, THIS IS THE BEST AND EASY WAY TO DO IT, AND THIS IS THE METHOD I USE:

get firefox or google chrome, install"ad blocker plus", go to sioniam.com, click "auto surf with ads". ad blocker will block all ads and thus this is basically surf pages for you. this is fast, easy and gives you the highest payout of 1.5 points per page view. while it loads the page, you can be do anything else you want, watching youtube, playing games, watching porn, whatever you're in the mood for! you can leave you computer overnight and gain points.

i've gotten alot of traffic with this. note that the number of hits that displays on sioniam.com to your traffic is not truly accurate. the real number of hits is smaller since when you use autosurf, you sometimes view your own page, thus itmight not count for sites that need unique views, and also some ther factors come in to play. nevertheless, you still gain alot of traffic!

you can fiddle with "splendid surf" or "silver surfer" if you wish, but personally i don't bother.
it's that easy so why not try it? try it and see the traffic on your site!

EDIT: USE SPLENDID SURF WITH ADBLOCKER, YOU'LL GET A CRAPLOAD OF POINTS FAST!!!!

How to Get Free Internet on Your iPhone

There has been loophole that enables you to get free Edge internet acess on your iphone.  please note that this requires a t-mobile sim card.  this has been tested on prepaid and a monthly plan card.  this ONLY enables you to surf the internet, it does not allow external apps like cyadia, google maps,  tom-tom etc, google earth and etc to access the internet.   this only allows you to browse the world wide web.

step 1a) to do this, navigate to settings->general->network->cellular data network. turn on cellular data, then lick "APN" and type in "wap.voicestream.com".

step 2a) turn on safari or any other browser you have and DO NOT accept the data plan page pops up, instead type in the  address bar "ifailhard.com/tmobile/iphone".  with this site, you can use send free sms text messages or use the proxy to surf any site.

if  you want a quicker and better surfing Experience, then read this:
You may find that it is annoying to have the data plan page pop up each time and you may also find that the proxy does not load some webpages properly (i.e images not loading correctly or text alignment being messed  up), then use this following method.

step 1b)  download this hacked opera mini browser from here (enjoy the song :D):
http://www.fileserve.com/file/Xvv6bUU

step 2b) extract the rar file, install the opera ipa file (you need Appsync to do this).  first, we will need the internet  for first time time because we need to configure the browser, so turn on wifi and open the app.  go to settings (wrench icon) -> scroll down to advanced ->protocol, change it from socket to http. close the app and turn off the internet,

step 3b) do step 1a above, turn on cellular data, turn on opera browser and you should not longer be bothered by the data plan page and moreover,  you can have a full web surfing experience and won't need to use the proxy site above.

that's it.

Video Games are Now a Sport

The Evolution of Competitive Gaming
If you have not been living in a cave for the past 10 years, you will realized that video gaming is serious business nowadays.   It is a serious business that generates serious money.   Much like in real sports, there are stars and heroes whom are looked upon by others with admiration.  Even though, Gaming as sport is still not as popular in the United States (even though it's growing as we speak), in other countries, it has become a huge phenomenon .  In Korea, Thousands of people gather to watch gamers play a game called Starcraft.  These games are broadcast live on TV. Such players get paid $200k plus USD per year.  Most players range from age 16-24.  Though the money is great, the expected career  length of a Korean starcraft player is not very long, nevertheless, if you’re 16  and getting paid more than 100k to play some you love, I’d it is not a bad deal.   Moreover, most of these players are sponsored by big company and some are even recruited as stockbrokers  by companies after their starcraft careers end.

Creating Stars
In the United States, Sport Gaming is rising but has still not reach the point where it is mainstream, nonetheless,  players can still earn up to $100k per tournament.   The big prizes come from big tournaments that hosts FPS games such as Halo and counterstrike.   Fighting game Tournaments on the other hand offer much less cash prizes since these tournaments tend to be more low-key/underground in what seems to be an already underground sport.  However, Fighting games  tourney is more globalized, players all over the world compete in these tourneys and many epic rivalries are formed.  The biggest fighting game tournament in the United States if not the world is “EVO”, which has produced  the most exciting fighting game megastars  and match-ups over the years.  Players  like Daigo and Justin Wong are common names amongst fighting game fans nowadays, Just look at all this video and you, like myself, will believe that all this hype is justified:

The Future of Competitive Gaming
Now many still question if gaming can be considered as sport, since it is just video games.  Others will laugh at it and look down upon it.  Well I offer you this question, before any of the “sports” today are called a sport, what were they?  That’s right, they were just games.  They became a sport when people found out  that they could drive competition to make money.  Look at poker, it is now considered a sport, which shows on ESPN and NBC.  The gist of it is if something has a competitive nature, where one man or team walks out a winner and the other a loser;  where one can make money off of it and others can make money by betting on it, then in my opinion, it has all the rights to become a sport.  Also, it is not like playing a fighting game is easy, it takes coordination, practice and mind games.  If you still think that gaming as a sport is a joke and that’s it’s easy, then I dare you to challenge a professional  Street fighter player and let’s see if you still think the same afterwards.
